If you feel inspired to give back to animals
and have studied with me, you may be interested to join the Threshold Project.
Purpose:
To gather a committed group of animal communication students to connect with animals who are members of species which are going extinct.
Parameters:
We meet on Gmeet for 90 minutes on 12 designated dates from March 2024 to March 2025. A week before each meeting, I will send out general background information about the species of animal we will be connecting with in that meeting. At the time of our gathering on Gmeet, we do a brief introduction and then a communication, each student taking notes of their conversation with their given animal. We do a sharing, and then close with a collective aspiration. The meeting will be recorded.
Student Commitment:
There is no fee. You are asked to attend at least 9 of the 12 meetings. The dates for 2024 will be given upon inquiry.
Each student is asked to type out their communication within 3 days of the meeting and send it to me, and I will upload it to a password protected website for the Threshold Project. In this way, we can all read each other’s communications, and share comments and observations in the Threshold Project private website as desired. There is no expectation for you to read and comment on other students’ communications on the private website; this is completely optional.
This is not a course, but rather an opportunity to be present with animals whose entire species may be non-existent within a matter of years. Students will strengthen their communication skills, and most certainly have awakening and heart-opening experiences. However, the focus is on the animals: being fully present for them, listening as deeply as we can, and communicating the truths they know and would like to share.
To maintain the sacredness of the container, students are asked to hold their experiences in the meetings confidential. This means not sharing about your participation in this project or what animals or the other participants say and experience.
Prerequisites:
Completion of Basic 1 and Basic 2 with me, Sharon Loy.
If you feel inspired reading this, but doubt your communication skills or worry that you have not practiced much since Basic 2, please put your self-doubt aside and trust the flaring of enthusiasm in your heart. Your open-hearted presence and giving of time and caring is a gift to the animals and the spiritual forces that uphold Life on our beautiful Earth.
Origins and Inspiration:
In March of 2018, I was teaching a Basic 1 Course in my home in Sedona, Arizona, and I had a strong awareness come to me about the future. I saw that in two years, March of 2020, there would be a spiritual grace land on this earth, which among other things would make it easier for people to learn animal communication.
In March of 2020, of course Covid came. That summer, I began teaching animal communication online. Since this time, every course I have taught has had full enrollment. And for the first time since I began teaching this work in 2010, people started emailing me saying, “I am having spontaneous experiences of animals communicating with me, and I need your help.”
In 2021, I remembered the vision I had had in 2018, and reflected on how true it was. And then I thought to myself, “What else am I not seeing?”
Shortly thereafter I saw that 2024 would be the next year of intense challenges on our planet. Specifically, some kind of environmental calamities in the second half of the year, and other events as well.
I aspired for what I could do to help in this time.
Then I recalled something Samuel Sagan, the man who taught me meditation, said to me at a meditation course in Australia in 2014: “Every time an animal goes extinct, a particular kind of jing is gone forever from this earth.”
(Jing, in Chinese medicine, is a word for the essence of a being. It is a substance that mysteriously shines the light of that being’s presence via the being’s chi, or lifeforce. It is a reflection of a being’s DNA and archetypal blueprint, and also holds something of that being’s higher self. So it shines something of a being’s presence both as an individual and as a member of its species.)
When he said this, it was like a dagger hit my heart.
In that moment, it came home for me how extinction depletes this earth of its richness, diversity, and fullness of Life. And how we are all rendered more impoverished on subtle but profound levels when beings go extinct, regardless of whether we live near them or not.
All living things rest on each other’s presence, from the level of tiny microorganisms essential to our digestion to the presence of a blue whale, the biggest animal to ever live on this planet, whose magnitude of consciousness helps uphold the entire web of life.
Every time a being goes extinct, it becomes harder to live here, on this earth. The fullness of Life becomes diminished and the very chi of the earth itself is diminished. Every living being suffers when beings go extinct.
And currently we are in the sixth mass extinction that this earth has known. Unlike previous mass extinction events caused by natural phenomena, this one is caused by human activities, specifically by habitat destruction, pollution, unsustainable use of water, land, and energy, and also climate change.
The idea came to me that if I and a group of animal communication students were to connect with animals who are members of endangered species, we could translate for them and offer them a listening human presence.
This could be healing for all.
Whenever any of us listen to another being’s truth from a place of unconditional love and open-hearted receptivity, beauty, love and truth flourish. And as my grandmother would say, “A problem shared is a problem halved.”
There is no agenda in The Threshold Project, except to bring pure presence and unconditional listening to beings whose species are on the brink of extinction.
There are much bigger forces at play in what is unfolding right now on our planet, and it is important that we approach our communications with humility and respect for that which we do not understand. Our intent is to hold a space for the highest and most beautiful unfolding possible in this time and for the future of Life on this earth, whatever that looks like.
I hope you will join me. If you feel called to be part of this, please email me at info@sharonloy.com and we can explore your joining The Threshold Project.
